Directions and parking
If you are arriving by car, it is usually best to leave the M27 at Junction 2 or 3 and follow the signs to Lyndhurst. This will bring you into Lyndhurst on the A35 and very soon after you pass the village sign for Lyndhurst, you will see Whitemoor House on the right, just after the New Forest Golf Course. We are the first B&B you come to from this direction. Leaving the M27 at Junction 1, can cause you to be held up in traffic at peak times, so best avoided if possible!
We have one parking space for each room in our private car park and, unfortunately, can’t always guarantee enough space for two cars per room or for vans. However, for any overspill, there is plenty of space in the lay-by across the road or in Princes Crescent just 100 yards away.
If you are arriving by train, we can arrange to have you collected from Ashurst New Forest Station (2 miles away) by prior arrangement. Alternatively, you can come to Brockenhurst Station (5 miles away), where there is a Taxi Rank and Number 6 Bus Stop.
Guests arriving by train can explore the area by either hiring bikes in Lyndhurst; taking the Number 6 bus to Brockenhurst, Lymington or Southampton; hiring a small electric Twizy car in Brockenhurst; choosing from four open-topped New Forest Tour Bus Routes during the summer months or simply planning a beautiful walk from our front door.
Guests with bicycles can keep them in our secure cycle store.
