Due to Covid-19 we are temporarily closed until the situation improves, although the Government have announced that we may be able to start opening from the 4th July. This is dependent on what course the virus takes over the next few weeks. However, we are very much hoping that we might be able to reopen then and are taking bookings from the 4th July.
If you book direct with us, we don’t take a deposit and there is free cancellation up to 24 hours before the visit start date, so that we can respond quickly to changes in the situation.
It is our top priority to keep you as safe as possible and we will have to comply with the Government Covid Secure Charter before reopening. To ensure social distancing, breakfast will be served slightly differently and we will have staggered sittings. If restaurants aren’t able to open at the same time as us, several are already serving takeaway meals in the evenings, which guests can bring back here to eat. Our licensed Honesty Bar will be kept well-stocked!
We hope that you remain well and we look forward to being able to welcome guests back to Whitemoor House and to the New Forest National Park before too long! All best wishes from David and Jayne.

David and Jayne welcome you to Whitemoor House B&B in the New Forest.
We hope that you find all the information you need here.
Please don’t hesitate to phone us if you have any questions!
Whitemoor House B&B in Lyndhurst overlooks White Moor and is ideally situated in the ‘Capital’ of the New Forest. It is a perfect location from which to explore and enjoy this beautiful National Park. There are over 50 attractions and places of interest within one hundred thousand acres of forest and heathland, with many ponies, donkeys, cattle and, in the Autumn ‘Pannage’ season, pigs, all wandering freely and taking priority over the cars! There are many country pubs serving delicious food and local ales, often tucked away at the end of a quiet lane.
You can stroll into the village centre in just 7 to 8 minutes and enjoy a tasty meal at one of the wide range of pubs, restaurants and tea shops. It is also right on the cycle path, from where you can join up with many beautiful cycle routes through the Forest, or you can step over the stile opposite and walk for miles through open forest and moorland. You could also try horse riding, kayaking, archery and wakeboarding in the nearby villages. We’re just a couple of hundred yards from the unique New Forest Golf Club, which will give you a discount when you stay at Whitemoor House.
